• Has a Cycle Forum that is a member of Cyclenation
• Employs a Travel Plan officer to encourage more people to use sustainable modes of transport.
• Hypothecates car parking fees so they can be spend on sustainable transport initiatives
• Has over 1300 cycle parking spaces both on the main campus and at the residences including lockers.
• Has a rolling programme of installing showers in new and existing buildings.
• Pays cycle travel expenses.
• Runs a Cycle2 Work Scheme allowing staff to buy bikes on a salary sacrifice scheme from selected local suppliers
• Dr. Bike:- Regular cycle checks available to all members.
• Runs a Bike buddy Scheme
• Produces its own Cycle Map
• Runs a ReCycle scheme in partnership with ReCycle Bikes to provide affordable bikes for students.
• Has a folding pool bike available for staff to borrow
• Runs a Cycle Challenge to get more people cycling
•  Actively presses the Council to improve cycling facilities in the city.
