Awards for Enterprise Computing Students

DCS students at ITMB

Enterprise Computing students received awards of £800 and £400 at the ITMB day held in London on April 22nd.

Mihai Glont and Jemma Stones received £800 and £400 for their academic performance in the autumn semester, whilst Matthew Barber received £800 for winning the 'elevator pitch' competition. Matthew pitched an in-the-ear bluetooth convergence gadget for ease of operating different existing mobile devices including phones and MP3 players.

In attendance at the ITMB day were 12 other universities. Enterprise Computing students competed in the ITMB trophy poster competition (depicted) and had the chance to meet with prospective employers including IBM, Logica and Deloitte.
