A degree from our Department of Computer Science is an excellent investment for your future. It will sharpen your analytical skills, stretch your creative talents, and equip you with the technical ability you need to succeed in a computing career.
You'll have the chance to learn about how computers are used to design programs and to understand cognitive abilities such as language, speech and hearing.
There are chances to work in robotics, computational biology, 3D graphics and virtual reality. We can even teach you how to run your own IT-based business, or how to manage someone else's.
What programmes do we offer?
We offer a wide range of highly regarded programmes, most of which can be studied as a three year Bachelor's degree (BSc/BEng) or a four year Master's degree (MComp/MEng). Depending on your interests, you can select a programme in computer science or software engineering, or a course that mixes computer science with mathematics, artificial intelligence or business and management skills.
