Software Engineering

This popular degree course focuses on the art of engineering complex software systems. The course not only teaches you state-of-the-art software design and programming technologies, but also lets you practise your skills in program management, team work and working with people. Both will be an excellent preparation for a future career in the IT industry.

BEng/MEng Software Engineering

Focus on the more practical aspects of engineering complex software systems. The course teaches you state-of-the-art software design and programming technologies. It also lets you practise your skills in program management, team work and client contact. Software engineering courses are excellent preparation for a career in the IT industry. Third-year students spend 50 per cent of their time working on a research project. Fourth year students take part in running Genesys Solutions and undertake some Advanced Research Topic projects.
