Ethics Review Procedure

All members of staff within the Dental School, and supervised students who are registered with the university and who plan to undertake research which involves human participants, their data or tissue should ensure that their proposed research is ethically approved via the appropriate ethics review procedure prior to commencing such research.

There are two recognised RECs in Sheffield- North (based at the Northern General Hospital site) and South (based at the central site). Contact details for all RECs can be found on the COREC website. (the following link will open in a new window)
