Ethics & Governance
All members of staff within the Dental School, and supervised students who are registered with the University and who plan to undertake research which involves human participants, their data or tissue, should ensure that their proposed research is ethically approved via the appropriate ethics review procedure prior to commencing such research.

Depending on the nature of the study will determine whether University of Sheffield Ethics or the NHS ethics review process is used.
