Children's and young people's oral health (CYPOH)
Our programme of research aims to improve the oral health and treatment experiences of children and young people through a combination of clinical and social scientific research strategies that:
- Give children an active voice in relation to their oral health.
- Explore and gain a full understanding of the impact of oral health and related conditions on children and their families.
- Measure oral health related impacts on children's quality of life.
To meet this aim we work closely with NHS colleagues, other University departments and the Centre for the Study of Childhood and Youth, link below.
