45th annual UK History of Economic Thought conference

The UK's 45th annual History of Economic Thought conference takes place from 4 to 6 September 2013 at The Ridge, University of Sheffield.

The conference offers an opportunity for both UK and international scholars to present and discuss papers relating to all aspects of economic thought in historical perspective.

Contributions are welcome on any aspect of this field: there are no specific restrictions on time periods or schools of economic thought. All papers are presented to the whole conference – there are no parallel sessions and this provides an opportunity for extensive discussion of each paper.

This year will also see the formal establishment of a society for the history of economic thought to oversee the annual conference and support the development of history of economic thought as a sub-discipline.
