MSc studentship funding awards are available for a limited number of full-time UK students taking the MSc in Economics & Health Economics.

University of Sheffield funding for international students

The International Office web pages provide details of all sources of funding available to international students. This website also contains useful information for EU students.

The University provides a number of scholarships for international students (not EU) each year. If you're accepted on to one of our courses, we'll send you information about how to apply for these scholarships. The deadline is usually 1 July, but you need to be holding an offer of a place on one of our degrees by 1 June, so please apply earlier.

Funding your study as a UK student

Students on our programmes often fund their studies with career development loans and part-time work. We recognise that for most of our students part-time work is necessary. So we've designed your timetable to allow for this, particularly in the spring semester.

At the same time, we encourage you to apply for all other forms of funding that are available. The University's Student Services department has information on different ways of funding your study.

Funding for students from Scotland and Northern Ireland

Students from Scotland or Northern Ireland may be able to apply for funding for the taught diploma part of any of our masters programmes from the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) or from local Education and Library Boards in Northern Ireland.

If you are resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, please ask the admissions tutor about these opportunities, as you will need to apply for a place to study on one of our postgraduate diploma courses.
