Doctor of Educational Psychology (DEdPsy)

(post-qualification or `top-up´)

The Doctor of Educational Psychology degree is a part-time continuing professional development programme and is intended to allow experienced practising Educational Psychologists to `top-up´ their existing Masters-level professional qualification.

It has been developed from its predecessor, the highly successful EdD (Educational Psychology), as a result of consultation with the field and from our understanding of the changing needs of the profession.

The work for the programme can be closely related either to projects in children´s services, psychological services or else to individual professional needs. Programme members will be expected to work towards a coherent specialisation of expertise, taking a critical approach to psychological theory and practice.
