SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SELF FUNDING
OVERSEAS STUDENTS
The University makes available a number of scholarships to self funded international students paying a full overseas fee once they have accepted a place on a taught postgraduate course.
Many of these scholarships offer between £1500 and £2000 per student depending on the level of fee being paid, and the country of origin of the student. Many South American and East Asian countries are covered, although China is currently excluded. For the majority of these scholarships, students will automatically be eligible, and will be notified by the University’s Student Services once they have registered.
Overseas students may also apply for merit scholarships for which students are selected from a round of formal applications. These may offer funding in the region of £5000 – £6000. Eligible students will automatically be notified by the University’s student services on how to apply, and eligibility is based on country of origin and the offer of a full time place on a Masters programme.
The School of Education is unable to provide detailed information on these scholarships, as they are awarded by the University, and may change from year to year. For up to date information on what you may be eligible to receive or apply for, please visit:
