We are respected internationally for our many important contributions in the field of Electronic and Electrical Engineering. This is supported by the fact that 95 per cent of our research was classed as being internationally recognised or higher in the 2008 Nationwide Research Assessment Exercise. If you choose to carry out your research with us, you will join a vibrant community of approximately 500 postgraduate and undergraduate students. At the time of going to print, we have 41 academic/academic related staff, (including 17 professors) and 31 research staff. We also have a dedicated team of 23 technical and 17 administrative support staff.
