Comparison of test scores for UKBA visa purposes
This table compares the total and component scores required on certain Secure English Language Tests (SELT) with reference to the UK Border Agency guidelines published 06 April 2011 and its subsequent updates.
NB - This page was last updated on 29th August 2012
The University of Sheffield English Proficiency Test (USEPT) equivalents are included. USEPT is not a SELT.

Comparison of test scores for University admissions purposes
The University of Sheffield will use these comparisons to ascertain whether candidates have met the level required in their conditional offer. Candidates who need a Tier 4 student visa in order to take up their place will need to also satisfy the UKBA requirements (see above.)
