We run a range of part-time English language classes for members of the public.
We offer a variety of part-time classes to help improve your English for personal and professional reasons, or in preparation for an Internationally recognised English language exam.
Our experienced and friendly tutors can help you to improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening English language skills.
All part-time classes are open to University students, staff and members of the public.

Free English classes
The ELTC runs part-time and full-time teacher training courses (Cambridge CELTA) throughout the year. The trainees on these courses are preparing to become English language teachers. We need volunteers to join these classes so that our trainee teachers can practise their teaching.
International Merit Scholarships
We offer a generous package of financial support for international students including 75 undergraduate scholarships worth £10,000 towards the annual tuition fee and 125 postgraduate taught scholarships worth £5,000 towards the tuition fee. Applications are now open for existing offer holders.
