OpenStage: Theatre by Students, For Students

            Are you interested in plays and the theatre?
Do you want the chance to develop your theatre knowledge and performance skills in an informal, creative and inclusive environment?

            Would you enjoy working in the studio with a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate students?
Would you like the opportunity to deliver the play or plays you develop to a range of audiences, including A Level students and members of the general public, as well as within the university?

To get involved, come to the initial OpenStage meeting:

on Wednesday 20th February, 6:00-8:00pm
at The Hawley

Throughout the project there will be input from people with a background in theatre production and a chance for you to experiment with new ideas and a range of texts. Everyone will have the opportunity to meet new people, share ideas, take part and contribute positively. Workshop sessions will be fun, engaging, innovative and group-directed; and so will our performances!
