Dual honours courses
Dual honours courses at undergraduate level allow you to pursue two fields of study which lead to a single degree. This allows you to continue to study more than one subject that you enjoyed at school or to broaden your horizons by exploring different areas of study.
Taking a dual honours course doesn’t mean it is more work; you take the same number of modules as a student studying a single subject, but you don’t study as many modules in each of the subjects.
Sheffield offers a wide range of dual programmes. Take a look at the list to see what you might study to give yourself more flexibility and choice in your degree.
'And' and 'with' courses
Programmes listed as ‘and’ are usually split evenly between subjects, while those listed as ‘with’ are weighted so that the first named subject is 2/3 of the course.
