These pages provide information to help University colleagues to find the correct person to help with their query. If you are an existing or potential supplier please refer to information for suppliers to contact the procurement office.

The Procurement Office provides general and specialist advice and guidance on procurement procedures, including tendering, EU procurement and funding councils. If you have a general procurement enquiry, including new vendor requests, please contact the Procurement Office helpdesk.

 

The Procurement Office Helpdesk provides help and advice to all University staff and external suppliers on:

• queries about vendor set up prior to approval from the procurement office
• procurement issues relating to the Financial Regulations (including tendering thresholds and the use of purchasing cards)
• conducting quotation and tendering exercises
• the use of University of Sheffield Contracts and Suppliers for purchasing goods and services
• requests to release Purchase Orders over £25,000
