The Procurement Office is a specialist team within the Department of Finance which provides informative guidance and support to assist departments with their purchasing decisions in all matters relating to non-pay spend.

The Procurement Office helps the University to obtain value for money in all its purchases of goods, works and services, through efficiency, economy and effectiveness of activities. The Procurement Office team undertake strategic procurement for the University, conducting tendering and contract management, whilst adhering to relevant procurement legislation, including European Procurement Directives.
