FRENCH THEATRE WEEK 14-18 March 2011
Following on from the visit of Denis Darzacq, the French Department continues its mission to bring French artists to Sheffield with a week devoted to performance and theatre.
The department will be staging the British premiere of Les Esprits by Pierre de Larivey, in an adaptation by Albert Camus.
In conjunction with this, the distinguished actor and theatre director Vincent Siano will be making two contributions, a lecture and a performance workshop.

Vincent Siano and his company specialise in taking theatre into the community : they have staged plays in locations across France and beyond. Every production involves amateurs in cast and crew.
Between 1979 and 2007 they gave 1130 performances for over 115,000 spectators in more than 170 towns and villages in France and in Italy, Greece, the former USSR, Poland, Switzerland, Portugal, Hungary, USA, Belgium, Denmark, Slovakia, Bosnia, Ireland, Morocco, Algeria.
