MA Crossways in European Humanities (Mundus)

The MA in Crossways in European Humanities offers a programme of European languages, cultures and literatures, and is provided by a consortium of European universities.

The programme exists in a one year and two year format. Your first semester is spent at Sheffield. Semester 2 is spent at a partner institution (Perpignan, Bergamo, Lisbon, Santiago de Compostela, or Tübingen). You then either return to Sheffield to write your dissertation or, on the two year programme, spend semester 3 back in Sheffield and semester 4 in a partner institution where you will write your dissertation.

This programme has been designed by integrating the modules of a number of existing Masters programmes in the Universities of Sheffield, Bergamo, Lisbon, Perpignan, Santiago de Compostela and Tübingen.

We will fully support you in your choice of institution and modules.

This new programme is an exciting opportunity to obtain a prestigious, European-funded Masters qualification, with a period of study abroad.

As a student of this MA, you are eligible to compete for fee-waivers, University scholarships, and AHRC funding. Erasmus mobility funding is also available for the period abroad.
