PHD Training Module
With support from a Skills Training Development Grant (STDG), Georgina Waylen and Victoria Robinson have developed a module on Doing Gendered Research for current research students. The aim of the module is to help students to develop interdisciplinary research skills in doing gendered research as well as assess the implications of different methodologies. Students have an opportunity to reflect on the appropriate methods and approaches for their own research. GSS6010 has run since Semester 1 2008/9.
GSS6010 Doing Gendered Research is running again in in Semester One 2011 for any PhD students undertaking gendered research. The seminars run fortnightly beginning on Wednesday October 19 at 11.00am. For further details contact Vicki Robinson (vicki.robinson@sheffield.ac.uk) or Georgina Waylen (g.waylen@sheffield.ac.uk).
