Food Activism studentship announced
The Department of Geography at the University of Sheffield, in collaboration with the Social Science Collections and Research Department of The British Library, is pleased to announce the availability of a fully-funded PhD studentship to undertake an oral history study of recent British food activism.
The studentship will cover tuition fees (at UK-EU rates) and a maintenance stipend at standard Research Council rates (£13,650 in 2010-11, rising incrementally thereafter), plus a Research Training Support Grant of £500 per annum. The studentship is for a maximum of three years, beginning in September 2010.
