Visit us this Summer!
Are you interested studying for a degree in Geography or Environmental Science at the University of Sheffield? If so, you can visit us before you apply by attending one of our Summer Open Days.
The Open Days allow you to find out more about the University and student life at Sheffield. In addition, you will have the opportunity to attend a talk on your preferred course, and will be able to visit the Department of Geography, where you can view displays on all our courses, meet some of our current staff and students, and enjoy refreshments in our new Student Café.
There are four Open Days to choose from:
Saturday 19 June 2010
Thursday 1 July 2010
Friday 2 July 2010
Tuesday 7 September 2010
You are welcome to attend on any date, but you must book a place to guarantee to be able to attend the talk of your choice. You will also receive further information about the Open Day. You can book your place by following the "Book a place" link at:
www.sheffield.ac.uk/opendays
When booking, please note that those thinking of studying Geography can choose to attend a talk at either 10.30am or 1.00pm, whereas the Environmental Science talk takes place at 12.30pm. In addition, friends and family are very welcome to attend the Open Day, but please note that only one friend or family member will be allowed to attend the talk.
Everyone is welcome to visit the Department of Geography at any time between 11am and 3pm, whether you attend a talk or not. The Department is centrally located, and easily found using the campus map that is provided to those attending the Open Day.
