Department hosts 'Windy Day' meeting

The 17th 'Windy Day' meeting will be held at the Department of Geography, University of Sheffield on the 19 October 2011.

This meeting will be of interest to any researcher undertaking research relating to drylands, deserts, coastal dunefields and processes and development issues. Presentations covering the application of basic physics, methodological issues and techniques to these environments are also welcome.

The meeting will consist of both oral and poster presentations, and presentations by research students are especially encouraged.

Attendance is free to all registered participants and will include morning/afternoon refreshments and a buffet lunch.

The key deadline to note is that abstract submission must be completed by 1 September 2011.
