MPH in International Development (MPHID)

The MPHID programme is over a one-year period (full-time) in which time students study 180 credits worth of modules . The programme comprises of 150 core credits and 30 credits from optional modules.

Modules are delivered through a mixture of lectures, seminars and independent study, emphasising the latest research and drawing explicitly from the individual expertise of each academic. Assessment methods include essays, reflexive writing, research reports, policy briefs and oral presentations.

Full year: Professional Skills for Development

Students who are awarded 120 credits (excluding the dissertation) are eligible for a Postgraduate Diploma in International Development.

Students who are awarded 60 credits (excluding the dissertation) are eligible for a Postgraduate Certificate in International Development.
