If you are interested in one of our courses you can visit us on one of our Summer Open Days before you apply. Summer Open Days allow you to find out more about the University and your preferred subject. In addition to being able to attend talks on Geography degrees, including Environmental Science, you will be able to visit the Department and meet current staff and students.
There are four Open Days in 2010 to choose from as follows:
- Saturday 19 June 2010
- Thursday 1 July 2010
- Friday 2 July 2010
- Tuesday 7 September 2010

Open Days for Offer-holders
All applicants who receive an offer will also receive an email or letter inviting them to attend one of our Offer-holder Open Days. These open days run from February to early April and are designed to give you a fuller picture of life and work as a student on your particular course. Each day also includes short tours of the campus and the department, a visit to catered and self-catered accommodation, and opportunities to meet staff and current students.
If you are an offer-holder, to find out which dates are available and to book your place, please visit the URL detailed in the invite email or letter, or contact our Undergraduate Admissions Secretary if you have received neither of these. If you cannot attend any of the available dates, you can attend one of the University´s campus tours, which run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during semester.
