NewsletterUG Newsletter cover

Every spring we publish our annual newsletter ("Update...") for undergraduate applicants. The newsletter details many of the news stories and developments connected to the Department of Geography that we think will interest our undergraduate applicants. We also try to convey a sense of what life is like as an undergraduate Geographer or Environmental Scientist at Sheffield. We hope you enjoy reading it!

Here's a resume of what you'll find in the most recent issues (these are available to download in PDF using the links on the right):

Our Spring 2011 newsletter features details of our one of our professors becoming a TV star, an award-winning cover picture, as well as news from GeogSoc, Field Classes, teaching and research news, details of this year's Geographical Society internship and the University once again topping the ranking for undergraduate student experience.
