Useful Information for New Undergraduates
Welcome to the Department of Geography! If you are starting a Geography or Environmental Science course with us in September, this is the place for you. We will update this page with information and advice over the coming weeks. Registration
You will receive lots of information from Registry Services about your arrival in Sheffield. There are some steps you can take before you arrive, such as setting up your computer account and getting your University student card. The more you do now, the more time you will have to enjoy yourself in intro week! Intro Week: Monday 23 September - Friday 27 September 2013
You will receive comprehensive Intro Week information by email and by post in the coming weeks. The table below lists some key dates and activities for Geography and Environmental Science students. In addition to these, the Geography and Environmental Science societies will be organising their own events to welcome new students.

Welcome Walk
Our annual walk to the Peak District is the highlight of Intro Week for students and staff alike. You can see photographs from last year's Welcome Walk on our webpages and you can download the poster from the right hand box.
