Paul Coles works in the Department of Geography Cartographic Service which offers a Cartographic and Graphics service to the University and outside bodies. He is responsible for producing posters/notices and can also does laminating and ring binding. Paul is also responsible for photocopier card allocations and the department's first-aid supplies.

He came to work in the Geography Department straight from School in 1978, which means he's now been working in Cartography for over 30 years. After learning the basic technics of Cartography all those years ago he now finds himself putting them to use on the latest Mac computers. He has been a member of the Society of Cartographers since 1985.

Paul's main hobby is football both playing and watching. He is a mad/sad Sheffield Wednesday supporter although he now limit his visits down to Sheffield 6. He plays football both Saturdays and Sundays as well as helping to run Handsworth Girls U12 football team.
