MUSE and MOLE2 |
MUSE (My University of Sheffield Environment) is your gateway to online University resources from anywhere in the world. This includes access to your University e-mail account, calendars, filestore, your student record, previous assessment results and MOLE2. MOLE2 (My Online Learning Environment) provides most of the teaching support, such as lecture handouts, module information and resources, reading lists, practice exam questions, and links to TurnItIn. |

Erasmus and Study Abroad |
Erasmus is the European Commission's exchange programme enabling you to study for part of your degree in another European country. It's a great opportunity to spend a semester in another European country, and have it count towards your Sheffield degree. Study Abroad allows you to study in universities worldwide. This is normally your second year, and the courses taken abroad count towards your degree in Sheffield. We currently have links to universities in the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Students Services Information Desk |
SSID is a one-stop shop for student services. If you need course information, Exam details, if things aren't going right, have money worries, or you just need a form or dates for your diary, SSID can help. |
Departmental Office and Noticeboards |
The Departmental Office is on C floor of the Geography & Planning Building. It is normally open 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday. Contact: You will find noticeboards for all degrees and levels on B floor. |
Staff-Student Committee and GeogSoc |
The Staff–Student Committee is your opportunity to have your views heard in the Department. Your student representatives attend regular meetings with Department staff where they raise questions and make suggestions for how to improve your experience of the Department. You can find the Committee Minutes on MOLE2. GeogSoc was awarded Best Society at the University in 2012. With over 500 members, it's here for the benefit of the students to help ensure that everyone has an amazing time whilst studying in Sheffield. |
