Research interest

Understanding climate impact requires a detailed knowledge of the pattern-process in some sensitive areas such as the arctic, antarctic and alpine ecotones. At present, supported by the European Union-Financed Marie Curie Early-stage-training Fellowship, I am extremely interested in applying LPJ-GUESS to arctic environment such as the Abisko areas, that is, to use the process-based ecosystem model to explore how possible shifts in climatic zones according to a range of regional climate scenarios may lead to changes in the structure and function of natural ecosystems on species level and at the regional level.
