German with Dutch is a unique degree combination in the UK. It combines a firm grounding in German Studies with courses in the language and culture of Holland and Flanders. The emphasis of the degree will be on German studies, but 1/3 of your time will be taken up by the study of Dutch. So the weighting is two parts German to one part Dutch. This is different from a Dual Honours Degree, where you choose two subjects in equal proportion.
