Undergraduate degree structure: Level 3 (Fourth Year)
Your Final Year consists of:
The Core Language Course
2 hours a week of German language classes throughout the year, in 4 one-semester units. Currently, the units are:
- Grammar
- Essay Writing
- Public Speaking
- Comprehension
- German-English Translation
- English-German Translation
- Interpreting
All students take the Core Language Course. The Grammar and Essay-Writing units are required. The other units are options, from which you must choose two. We also generally organise a programme of optional German conversation groups, in addition to the scheduled language classes.
