Sandra Beer
DAAD LanguageTutor

I studied English/American and German linguistics, literature and didactics as well as drama teaching at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in Bavaria and finished my degree in 2013.
During my studies, I taught at German schools and at universities abroad. In 2009, I worked as a GIP (Germanistische Institutspartnerschaft) visiting lecturer for linguistics at the Ivan-Franco Universität L’viv (Ukraine) and in 2011, I did an Erasmus internship, during which I worked as a research and teaching assistant at the German Department of the University of Bristol.
Regarding research, I’m especially interested in German linguistics with cognitive linguistics in particular, as well as in new methods of drama teaching.
In the Department of Germanic Studies, I teach German language at Level 1 and I lead and direct the Germanic Studies Drama Group.
