Email: s.reisenleutner@shef.ac.uk
I am the current OEAD-Lektorin at the department of Germanic Studies. I studied English and Italian with a Teaching Degree at the University of Vienna and later did a Postgraduate Certificate for teaching German and Project Development at the same university.
Research Interests
My research interests lie in the methodology and pedagogy of foreign language learning and teaching, global and intercultural learning and foreign language teaching policy. My diploma dissertation was completed in Vienna under the title "Global and Intercultural Learning (GIL) in the EFL classroom". I am interested in developing teaching material for the various levels of the Common European Framework for Languages (CEFR) and I am currently working on a project about the marking of written work and the use of text types.
Teaching
In Germanic Studies I teach German language at all levels and as well as the final year optional language module Presenting and Debating. I also offer two option modules: Medien und Öffentlichkeit and Österreich Heute.
