Preliminary Information for Taught Postgraduate Students
Where and when
Graduation ceremonies will take place over three days on Wednesday 14 to Friday 16 January 2015 in the Octagon Centre.
Students are expected to graduate at the first relevant ceremony following successful completion of their studies. Due to high numbers involved at each ceremony, we regret that it is not possible to defer attendance to a later ceremony or to switch to a different ceremony held during the same period.
On-line registration for graduation will be open towards the middle of September. All students who are expected to complete their course of study in time to graduate in January will be notified via an email to their University email account when registration is open.
2 guest tickets are guaranteed for each candidate attending a ceremony, providing you register your intention to attend by the given deadline. Due to limited seating in the Octagon Centre, only 2 guest tickets can be guaranteed. In the unlikely event that any additional tickets are available, full details of how to apply will be sent to you via email during November.
Extra guest tickets cannot be guaranteed and any advance arrangements regarding your party's travel or accommodation are made at your own risk.
