Speech and Language Therapy student wins award

Claire Walker (BMedSci graduate, 2012) has won the prestigious Travers Reid Award for the best student research project in stammering.

This is a national competition organised through the Michael Palin Centre for Stammering in London, and Claire received her prize at the centre's Christmas party in December.

The topic of her dissertation was 'Attending a self help group:the impact for people who stammer'. Claire was presented with her prize by Travers Reid and also met Michael Palin.
