About Patient Access

Patient Access gives you access to:

  • Book, cancel or check your appointments
  • Order repeat prescriptions
  • View test results
  • View your medical record (to view your detail coded record please contact reception for an application form)
  • Change your personal details.

You can make routine appointments online to see any of the GPs. You can also make an appointment online for the Diabetic Clinic and the Male Sexual Health Clinic.

There are also a number of appointments online for specific nurse procedures, such as cervical smears, repeat contraception and asthma reviews. It is not appropriate to book a GP appointment for these procedures. Please ensure that a nurse led clinic appointment is booked. If you are unable to do this, please contact reception.

For non-routine appointments, such as medicals, travel vaccinations, etc, please contact us by telephone or in person to make an appointment. If you are booking a nurse appointment, please make sure that you are booking into a suitable clinic. Inappropriate appointments made online are liable to be re-arranged

How It Works

At busy times it can be difficult to contact the practice by telephone, and after hours there is no one to answer the phone for routine enquiries. using the internet, you will be able to view a range of available appointments and take your time to choose the best one for you.

Getting Started

Ask reception for your login details (in person or by email as above) and then register online to use Patient Access. After registering, you log on with your patient number and a password. You will then be able to view appointments you have already made, cancel them if necessary, and book an appointment with your doctor after checking the times available.
