As employability becomes ever more a part of the fabric of the student experience, the tools for expressing wider aspects of students' achievements grow in importance. The Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR), a formal degree transcript that lists students' curricular and extra-curricular achievements, will be a key resource for helping employers and others to appreciate the breadth of individual graduates' capabilities, in the face of an increasingly competitive environment.
2012-13 marks the launch of the HEAR at Sheffield. HEARs will be issued to all new undergraduates from September 2012 onwards.
