Course Tutors
The dual degree co-ordinator has an overview of History's side of the syllabus. He or she will be happy to explain the choices which students need to make at various points, and how specific elements of the single-honours syllabus are included, or replaced by something specific to that dual degree. The other department in the dual degree programme does not necessarily negotiate with History when it designs its half of the syllabus, so most of your queries about such issues need to be raised there. If you need to take things further, the dual degree co-ordinator will deal with that department on your behalf, but has no power over their procedures - such as timetabling or the year abroad (if there is one). If that department does not provide a personal tutor, your personal tutor in the History department will try to look after your interests. He or she may talk to the the dual degree co-ordinator on your behalf or in your company.
The dual degree coordinator is Dr. Amanda Power.
