Faculty Committees
There are also opportunities for you to get involved in committees at Faculty level. The work of these committees includes:
- policy developments.
- student surveys.
- project development involving different departments.
- reviews of learning and teaching quality.
- design of new degree programmes and amendment of existing programmes.
- response to internal and external reviews of the University (eg the Sheffield Student Survey and the National Student Satisfaction Survey).
This is rewarding work which will build your communications skills, offer you the opportunity for valuable networking and contribute to your personal development with skills to put on your CV.
| Arts and Humanities Faculty Learning and Teaching Committee |
There are places for student representatives on the Arts and Humanities Faculty Learning and Teaching Committee, and there is also an informal student consultation body which meets three times a year.
