Postgraduate Student Culture
As well as numerous social activities and trips, the postgraduate students organise their own forum designed to allow postgraduates and staff from Sheffield and other universities to present and discuss their ideas and offer suggestions about key topics. These are interdisciplinary discussion groups which hope to foster a growing collaboration between traditionally separate subjects. Each session deals with a specific topic and many different viewpoints and research methods are presented. There are currently groups in Medieval, Early Modern and Imperial and International History.
