Ernst & Young Scholars of the Future is a unique programme that is offered to selected individuals studying either History or Geography at the University of Sheffield. The two year scholarship takes place during your second and third years of study and could really kick-start your career.

What you get

First year of Scholarship

  • £1,000 bursary.

Second year of Scholarship

  • £1,000 bursary.
  • Complete a Corporate Social Responsibility course.
  • The chance to be E&Y’s brand ambassador for Sheffield (paid position).
  • Contact with E&Y colleagues, potentially leading to position on their Graduate Programmes.

What you need

Ernst & Young are looking for

  • People who enjoy the excitement of new experiences.
  • People who understand the opportunities from working hard in a diverse workplace.
  • High Achievers. You need to have at least 340 UCAS points across three subjects at A Level, and to be on track for a 2.1 degree.

Recruitment process

  • This opportunity will be advertised in your first year.
  • If you are interested, you will submit a CV and covering letter.
  • Ernst & Young will invite the top applicants to a formal dinner, followed by an Assessment Centre.
  • Following the Assessment Centre, successful students will be contacted the same week with an offer!
