Building Bridges

Sheffield Hallam University is hosting a week of Diversity events - 'Building Bridges' - in collaboration with The University of Sheffield and Sheffield City Council.

Held between 23 and 27 February 2009, it will be a celebration and exploration of equality and diversity issues across different aspects of University life. The series of free events will include a mix of lectures, workshops, debates and other activities organised by both staff and students, aiming to raise awareness of diversity and equality issues and encouraging staff and students to engage in these issues.

The events include an information fair, drama workshops, a Women in Science Technology Engineering & Maths networking event and a panel discussion session with Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Paul White entitled 'Diversity in Education: why does it matter?'
