Female Academics' Progression Action Plan

The University has launched a Female Academics' Progression Action Plan in a year that marks the 50th anniversary of the first female professor at the University, Aileen Guilding, who was promoted to Professor of Biblical Studies in 1959.

The progression of female academics is a key strand of the University's Excellence through Inclusion Strategy.
