University Enhances Information Available to New International Staff

The University has an international reputation for excellence and attracts staff from across the world.
We recognise the additional induction needs of new international staff relocating to the UK, and have subscribed to a new website which gives international staff access to additional information to support their transition to living and working in the UK.
The internationalstaff.ac.uk website is a one-stop shop about living in the UK and working in the UK higher education sector. The site also contains information relating specifically to the City of Sheffield, and the University of Sheffield.
The website is available to both potential international applicants, and international staff who have recently been appointed to posts at the University.
Membership has been jointly funded by the Department of HR, and the LeTS Internationalisation Project (www.sheffield.ac.uk/lets/thinkglobal)
