New Employment Policy Suites
We are delighted to announce the implementation of a number of new employment policies and procedures. The policies, and related procedures and guidance are flexible, robust and have been designed to support the University’s own unique challenges and future aims. All comply with legislation, and can be considered examples of good employment practice.
Performance and Sickness Absence; Dispute Resolution
These policy suites have been developed following extensive consultation with University staff and managers, and subsequent detailed development, negotiation and agreement with the recognised Trade Unions. They replace existing policies which have been in place for a number of years. The following policies, procedures and guidance are with effect from 1 January 2013:

Change Management
This policy suite has also been developed following extensive consultation with University staff and managers, and subsequent detailed development and negotiation with the recognised Trade Unions.
The planned implementation date for the Change Management suite is 1 March 2013, subject to Campus Trade Union ballots outcomes.
