The Department of HR wins prestigious national award

The Department of Human Resources has won the overall UHR HR Excellence in Higher Education award for the work they have carried out on Engaging Atypical Workers project.

The Universities Human Resources (previously known as the Universities Personnel Association) is the key organisation for human resources professionals in higher education in the UK. UHR sought nominations for individuals or teams of HR staff in member institutions who have made a real difference to their organisation's 'bottom line', by an innovative and excellent intervention or activity. The award was presented at a gala dinner as part of their annual national conference, which this year has been held in Belfast.
