Bitesize training: Writing an ECA recommendation
| Target audience: SRDS Reviewers and Heads of Departments Pre requisite: None Brief Outline: This session is designed to give SRDS reviewers and Heads of Department an understanding of exceptional and sustained excellent contribution; it gives guidance on how to write an ECA recommendation that effectively describes the contribution. The session is led by Dan Newberry from the Department of Human Resources. Purpose: The purpose of this session is to provide participants with an understanding of exceptional and sustained excellent contribution, and to give guidance on how to write effective ECA recommendations. Objectives: By the end of the session participants will: • Have an increased understanding of the ECA process. • Be able to distinguish between exceptional contribution and sustained excellent contribution. • Be able to write effective ECA recommendations.
