This is the second reporting period where all vacancies have been recruited to using the University’s e-Recruitment system, thus making the data only comparable to the previous year.
- 1,630 vacancies were approved for recruitment this year; 222 more than last year.
- 31,539 applications were received, 9.2% more than the previous year.
- 4.3% of all applicants and 39.7% of candidates shortlisted were appointed to posts. This is an increase of 1.1% in the conversion rate of shortlisting to appointments from the previous year.
- The number of candidates appointed to posts was 1,364 – an increase of 29.7% on the previous year.
